Egidio Juke Ingala & The Jacknives have been one of the most representative bands of the European blues scene for many years now. Hundreds of concerts between clubs and festivals, always offering a personal and deep sound, recognizable at first impact, direct and immediate.

They are famous throughout all European countries not only for their highly energetic live performances but also for the high quality of the music they perform, a first-rate band playing that kind of blues that go from Chicago to West Coast Blues, from Rhythm Blues to Rock n Roll thrilling the audience with their explosive performances.

Their latest album entitled "Switcharoo" was recorded for the prestigious label Rhythm Bomb Records is considered by critics to be one of the best and most important blues albums of this time.

Frontman Egidio "Juke" Ingala has a very particular style on harmonica and vocals. His sound has been described as something between Little Walter and George Harmonica Smith, with a touch of Walter Horton. Juke is a born entertainer with a strong sense of spectacle, something too often lacking in contemporary blues artists. Juke Ingala started working with Jacknives in 2010 and it was as if they had been playing together since day one. The Jacknives are one of the most solid and authentic blues combos you will find anywhere. The band was already famous for accompanying harmonica players in a manner reminiscent of the legendary Chicago blues trio the Aces. Band leader Marco Gisfredi is one of the best blues guitarists on the scene today. Inspired by Eddie Taylor, T-Bone Walker, Louis Myers and many other greats, he cut his teeth playing behind players like Paul Oscher, Steve Guyger, Mark Hummel, Lynwood Slim, Mike Sanchez and many others. The band's rhythm section is currently made up of solid bassist Max Pitardi and drummer extraordinaire Enrico Soverini whose love and knowledge of the finer points of this music allows them to play everything from dirty down-home blues to the most sophisticated urban grooves.
